With summer in bangalore 100% AC on, more crazy traffic, idling at traffic with ac and some road rage, last FE was:

14.5kmpl swift D @17600 kms.

Here's mine..

Accent CRDi - 18-20 on highways..15.7 - 16.5 in city AC on 110%, ICE on always
Maruti Gypsy King 1.3 Carb - 10-11 normal and 5-7 in 4wd off road, 3 on track!
Mahindra MM540 - 12-13 all the time, havent checked in Offroad conditions..
Tata Indigo Lx - 13-16 depending on the driving style - AC on 110%
Honda Unicorn - 55-70 kpl depending upon riding style.

All checked in Tankful to tankful until auto cut off.

Corolla : In city, 9-9.5 kmpl will AC set to 24 deg C, 100% of the time. Mostly stop-go dense traffic which Mumbai is famous for. (78,000km in 3 years, regularly serviced, top shape). Its an MT by the way. Fuel used is (HP) Power. The car is pushed hard 90% of the time because dad is always in a hurry to get somewhere.

Accent : Cudn't be less bothered could be giving 5 or 15, no one bothers.

I got 17.8 on my last refill with about 50%AC, sedate driving and 32/30 psi.

Though 32/30 offered a comfortable ride felt that the pickup was a little sluggish, so changed to 34/32 again.

I know thanks. I travel from Banaswadi to Kormangala 6th block everyday from the past 2 years. But shifted to Kormangala just a couple of weeks back.

I used to get it serviced in Garuda but since its closure i started Sundaram but was not at all happy with them I'm leaving it with "Z-Tech" motors in Ejipura. Does a great job and I'm really happy.

My Safari Dicor 3L Sep 2006 bought just returned 11.62 kmpl of diesel.

100% city driving with 70% on 3rd gear and rest on 1st and 2nd gear...

I drive a ford ikon 1.3 rocam 2006 september model and i get 8km. with a/c on in full mumbai traffic and 10 km without a/c. Also in a very economy mode that is driving under 60 km without a/c i could manage 12.25 km in city.
On highways at 100/120 speed i could get 13.50 with a/c on.

My Civic Baby results on Bangalore Roads with A/C set
to 22 Degrees most time. High Rev for only 10% of my driving.

City: 10.5 Kms/L (Average for a full tank)
Highway: 14 Kms/L

All the above figures on Average and from Full tank to Full tank
(I fill when the YELLOW indication comes in)

My 2004 Baleno gives 11.5 Kmpl in the City with AC on. On the highways I get about 16 Kmpl.

With my new Swift D (Within 1000km, before first service)
I got 17.8 average for 450 km (250 to 700 on Odo) with 300km on highway. Otherwise, peak time bangalore traffic.

Is that okay?

Sundaram is hopeless. I have stopped going there.

I'm leaving it with "Z-Tech" motors in Ejipura. Does a great job and I'm really happy.

Where did you hear about this guy? 40k service was done by him. Happy with the job he has done.
