| The mileage figures on my Zen Estilo, after the third service at 10,000 km, have gone up. The last three tank full to tank full figures read 14.0, 13.1 and 13.0 respectively. These are in Mumbai traffic, with AC on all the time. |

| Senior - BHPian | my esteem now gives 8 kmpl-9 kmpl in the city with the AC. i quite expect that much because i drive less than 5 km a day and the AC is always on since the ICE is new :-P my free flow hasnt helped. but its not contributed to dropping the fuel efficiency too! so thats a good thing. did a run from mumbai to khopoli on fairly empty roads at average speeds of 60 kmph with 5 people on board and the AC always on. got 14 kmpl. this notwithstanding the 150odd kmph i touched on various occasions. |

| If I just leave it in 6th and chug along, yes It's mainly because of the .57:1 ratio in 6th. 70mph at 1500rpm. If you start playing around with the throttle, it'll drop down to single digits at the drop of a hat. My worst tank average is 9mpg or close to 4kml due to traffic and fooling around. |

| I have achieved 16 kmpl in Civic-AT over 200 kms. Highway, Max speed < 70 kmph, no AC, two on board (including driver). Used some hypermiling techniques like taking my leg off the accelerator a long way before a speed-breaker so that I never use the brakes. (I had already achieved 15.3 kmpl over 1400 kms a few months back). |
