Rudra and Ajmat...Absolutely!!

I had asked the Honda guys why people who are going to sit on the backseat ONLY, pay the premium for a Vtec...or even the 1.5 (This was during the old Honda City days). Apparently these rich types walked into the showroom and asked for the "fully loaded with everything" version. The showroom would be only to happy to oblige

I see more Vtecs in Bombay that are chauffeur driven than self driven.

The registration No. was MH 02 - WA - 4xxx and was driven really cautiously.

The Vtec being a driver's car, couldn't understand the logic behind buying it for tourist use to ferry people around, unless ofcourse the owner is die-hard Vtec fan and loves to drive the car himself...what say ??

When i was in Mumbai some 2 years back I ahd seen a fleet of the then launched new (now old)Accords as taxis at the Oberoi, all blacks :-)

Btw there was a year ago,a ferrari spotted around chennai, which had yellow number plates(I think V12 would remember the details about that Ferrari ). now can you believe that.

Well the fastest cars, ironically on city roads today are:
TOYOTA QUALIS
TATA INDICA
TATA SUMO/SPACIO
DAWOO CIELO CNG
MARUTI OMINI

And the cars driving along slowly:
BALENO
COROLLA
OCTAVIA 2.0
CAMRY

No prizes for guessing... the former is a set of cabbies.. and the latter are driven MOSTLY by chauffers...

If one was to take the average of speeds of all the cars that ran in the city during the day, the diesel ones would come on top.

& There are lots of Astra's in that! just makes me sad

Mostly Balenos have started lately in Lxi trim and before it was the Esteem.

Whats the use of an Octy Taxi its so cramped already..

Camry is the love of the hotels..

NHC is also a popular taxi nowadays with the Accent being there as well..

Never seen a Vtec though
