It was about time,delhi leads - Maybach orders 5:1 - Team-BHP

Hey guys, I was going through this website which has news from all over the world about maybach and there I saw a news clip which read delhi leads in confirmed orders for maybach, i dont know what our newspapers keep printing, but DCIL has confirmed 6 bookings out of which 5 are in delhi.. excluding the 2 maybach's bought earlier from abroad.

i`ve seen the second maybach in mumbai parked outside Taj.It was silver in color.
So the count is 2 in mumbai.

I know a ton of people who wouldnt even think for a sec to buy one, but are not plumitting cuz of "bad eye" reasons..

Sunil Mittal - Airtel
Munjal - Hero honda(but I think his son confirmed with my brother inlaw that they convinced their mum)
Shashi Ruia - Essar
Khetan - Oil guy
Nandu - Zaveri / Jhaveri Jewelers (I dont know the spelling)
Bhartiyas - in the Birla Family tree
and few more..all very good friends of my dad's but I dont know why they are not going in for it...my dad says that too many people get that bhai wala letter after they do a big time purchase and especially when maybach is all over the news..
You can dive into it if you happen have connections on the bad side..so i am sure there are potential 100 buyers in india who are sitting idle due to some reason over the other but over time you will see them take the plunge..I guess its a matter of 4-5 years when the maybach count shoots to about 30-40 I think..

but if you ask me, if I were one potential buyer I would first go for an RR Phontom..or may be wait for the LWB due in a year or 2.
