Question

Guys,
So finally after a lot of drama I got my car yesterday. In the afternoon the person called me to tell me the regn no & also that the car would be ready by 5:30pm & that I could come & collect it. He told me that the number was MH-43-A-xxxx & I asked him in which godforsaken 'Gaon'(village) did he register my car ! * *because I expected it to be MH-04-CB-xxxx which I'd been seeing for sometime on the road.

Anyhow the engine is so sexy of the car..I mean its going to get difficult to drive it with a light foot * *But the cars handling is nowhere near as good as the city. I haven't taken any high speed turns or anything but the steering doesn't feel as sharp. What I do like about the car are the small touches like Fuel low warning light, Cup holders at the back & front, door open indication, illuminated cigarette lighter ring & p/w switches etc all of which didn't come with the more expensive Honda.

How about "Petsel"

RJ, congratulations on finally getting your CRDi. And I can tell you are already loving the torquey nature of the fabulous CRDi.

Hope you post on your experience with the Autocarindia helpline once matters are solved.

Congrats Rj.
Am shocked about the 43 thingy.Man this sounds like sum typical Village registration.
Anyway, tell me 1 thing.Do all the existing 04s have to switch over to 43 or its the new registered cars only??/

Yeah the new number is 43... i got a new city a few weeks ago when i went down to see the car i was wondering what happ to the MH-04 but then the guy told me its now turned to 43. Well i personally preffered the MH-04 makes it feel more like a bombay number ..43 seems like mars after 04. Anyways its good that a new series has begun now it will be easier to get VIP numbers. I got MH-43-A-437 for the city for free but next car i want a single digit 1 or something will be cool if not then MH-43-A-43 would look gr8 too.
