Fiat claiming "GP will fall in the same segment as the Maruti Suzuki Ritz, Hyundai i20, Skoda Fabia and the to-be-launched Honda Jazz"

I have seen the GP in Europe & I bet I have not seen any thing close to the GP on Indian roads.

If they get the pricing right then FIAT has a killer at its hand. Only they need to beef-up the sales & service support base.
FIAT go get it right this time.

Can anybody post a photo of a black Punto?

I think the photos posted so far are of the European models.I doubt if it will be the same as that of the upcoming Indian version(Length trimmed for Excise duty exemption). Can anybody have a good(professional) photo of the Indian Punto? Most of the photos posted in the scoops are not very good but i do understand that those are taken off hand, when a spotting a Punto itself was a rare event.

If anyone has any scoop/photos on the models which are going o be launched here, please post them here. I am eager to see how it looks in flesh, or rather in metal.

i saw one in Kolkata - 15 mins back at a dealership service center.
It was Red - had a rear wiper - and the punto's ground clearance(the one i saw) seems to be higher than what the photos look like... the incline of the car was a little unexpected - the rear end seems to be raised.
I had my camera ready while coming back the same way but the car wasn't parked on the road anymore.
:(

This is going to be one of the best looking hatches. The build quality also looks solid, just like you can expect from a fiat. Any pricing info?

Its really a painful wait.. Mean time TD'ed i20 and the interior quality is superb and its spacious too ( i m looking for my first car).

Can the Fiat GP live up to the expectation? interms of quality.

I m a petrol head.. Heard the mileage of i20 is somewhere around 11. Guys any idea of Linea/GP mileage on petrol version?

The indicators on the rear bumper (or is it the fog lamp?) looks prone to breakage what with all the two wheelers and autos

The indicators are high up. I guess these would be the fog lamps and I suspect a reversing lamp on the left
