Hey Team bhpians...

Its finally happened . Ferrari and Maserati have landed in India. Got the shock of my life when I opened the Times Motoring supplement this morning to find an ad by National Garage for the Italian legends....

I still cant believe my eyes but its true...

Check it out...

Damn, you beat me to this topic Dippy! lol

Yea, I was shocked too, not at the fact that Ferrari and Maserati are now available here, that was expected, but I was blown away at the RIDICULOUS ad National Garage has placed!!

At first, i thought it was for model cars or toys....then I read that it was infact for the real thing! I mean, c'mon!!! This is an embarrassment for the legendary Italian brand.

We discussed how National Garage would handle the sales of a legend, and seems that we were not far off in critisicing them.

Look at the ad and tell me what you think!

You took the words right outta my mouth rtech. Even I first saw the ad thinking some new model shop opened up and quite rightly so took a good look at the ad thinking I had one more source for increasing my model cars collection.. *and then I look below... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

At first glance I dismissed this ad for one of stickers for your car. It was only after Dippy rang me that I looked at it for a second time.
I was definitely shocked to see this ridiculous ad, but, then I remembered some ads I had seen in a pretty reputed international magazine and believe me, though not as bad as this one, they were not much better either.

Yeah rtech, I wanted to but my hands felt numb.
Do they (National Garage) know what they're talking about?
And what kind of enq they're expecting?

is this?

whoa. thats a pathetic ad. and why do they have to use the Enzo in the ad?? And a flame(y) Maserati? Are they gonna sell Hot Wheels or the real car???

Sick Ad. I feel they should not have put only an ad in the paper.

Yea, exactly! I mean, you don't sell Ferrari's by ptting ad's in the newspaper! You don't see an ad telling you to buy a Maybach do you!

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Ferrari with a wierd paintjob in the showroom window soon!! Remember all those Contessa's made to look like Audi's or W123 Benz's!!
