The Optra and Forester are very reliable products but that is because they were not developed by Opel/Vauxhall.
This car can make it big if sold properly.
Wish FIAT would follow in the footsteps and market the ALFA and Ferrari and Maserati and Lancia - new company can be used to sell Panda and all as FIAT has messed up.

The hatch version of this (if GM decides to introduce it - I won't believe what OverDrive says until I can actually SEE it here) will be a Getz/Swift rival. I still think the Swift is the best of the lot, but I have to admit the Aveo makes a lot of sense too. Waiting for the reviews...

The B+ segment will really become hot if GM gets the Aveo. But again, it would be difficult for GM to price it competitively with the Getz and the Swift. It will be really difficult for the Getz and any other new entrants in the near future to battle out the Swift.

P.S: What is GM yet doing with the Chevy Spark?

The car has looks that is far better than ikon, accent, indigo, esteem and even the NHC.
Even the NHC,
Any way, looks vary from person to person.

The aveo's safety...

The newest model only achives 1.5 stars (5 max) ina EuroNCap crash test... the driver is in serious danger due to the contact of the head and chest with the steering wheel...even if it has Airbags...

I like the high seat and the view it offers the driver. The test drive was good although the traffic didnt allow any possibilty to check its pick up. The sound is on the higher side compared to Japanese cars (whats new)

I told the dealer it would look great as a hatchback and he told me the hatchback version was just a few months away. I think that would be a better looking vehicle. It also might end my search for a hatchback
