Are the Mitsu Pajeros that were sold in India worth their price? They were sold at 35 lacs.

May be HM wanted to make quick bucks on the Pajero's brand image. How many takers were there at that price? I remember seeing couple of them in Hyd. But nowhere nowadays.

Well frankly its a lot more, for the last generation model .. i guess the 2.8 litre right?? But the car is worth its price...Fantastic capabilities, looks awesome...yeah yeah!! very heavy on the pocket but .. a person who can afford a Pajero wont be having problems to maintain it I guess!
I see a couple of them everyday!!! Awesome Road presence!!

If you compare it to the Mercedes SUV, it's definitely worth it. If you are looking at it from a VFM point of view, it's a sheer waste of money. The Endeavour at less than half the price does everything a Pajero can do.
Brand name counts. It's like comparing a Skoda Superb to a Mercedes E Class. The Superb does everything just as well as an E, but, a Merc is a Merc!

Funny thing is, HM was selling two generations of the Pajero...side by side. One for 20+ lacs, and the other for 30+. I had checked out the top end one at Metro Motors and loved it to death. I have to admit...I am a Pajero fan.

Coming to the question, is the Pajero worth 35 lacs? Nope. But certainly in the high-20's.
