Fuel additives

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone has used Bardahl fuel additives? The ones that are supposed to increase the octane level of the fuel? I think its called Octa Power. Please correct me if wrong.
Is it advisable?

Hi..

I used to use an additive called Thermal did show good results, but then i switched to SPEED ......

Additives need to be added and mixed in the right proportion(Parts per million) to be effective which normally when u do manually will not happen. Companies have facilities for this and do it in a right way.....

BP adds an additive which is imported form Cheveron,US unlike others who source it locally.

I am not so sure about Bardhal increasing the octane levels , will check from an authentic source and post it then..... Why dont you write to the company and ask them, these days they are very customer friendly and am sure they will go to all lengths to prove that there product does deliver what it promises.

i have used everything from bahrdahl to STP.but cud not feel any diff.
so have reverted to either using Power or using Bahrdhal injector klene with normal petrol.

Hi guys I have tried out STP high octane fuel boster and the results were great there was a diff in the pick up and speed and TF car are old cars PP Fiats *man there were water dropplets comming out of the exhaust pipe I was suprised man Now I have picked up a new octane boster from NOS
its called Nos octane boster with nitro *gonna run that in my baby when I come back to India *so lets see what r the results *r O I forgot to mention Its a racing formula hehehe

U bet.I have used that on a couple of cars and the result was awe-striking.It simply amazing.And very much worth the price of 30$.

The Bardahl website sez they make two kinds of additives, one for "enhancing performance" and the other for "solving problems". Going by the name, Bardahl injector kleen would be the one for "solving problems". Am i right, satya?

Team Fiat, X Machine, any idea if these boosters are available in bangalore?

no idea abt this.
but the injector klene is used for cleaning the injectors.
since urs is a carb zen,u cud use carb cleaner along with a full tank of normal petrol.
after using octane booster,the spark plugs in my splendor changed from white to brownish red.but there was nothing great in either the bike or my car after using an octane booster.
