they have been unofficially coming to India since the last 5 years,,if any of us can get together and lobby them to launch a plant ANYWHERE ,,but fast,,since Mercedes have been having quite a clean run seriously overcharging us by just upgrading engines from one engine capacity to the next,in all model ranges,,the petrol E class has reached E240,,and the diesel E has reached e270 cdi,,but they cost 34 Lakhs plus and still dont have 5 link all independent rear suspensions ( refer comparo in Aug issue of Auto Magazine)

The article clearly says that BMW is considering Gurgaon as one of the possible locations for thier proposed plant in India.
So, why does the title of this thread say BMW plant in gurgaon? i thought they had already decided to have a plant there when i saw the title. I thought the same when i read the article in TOI.
excuse me but what is all this excitement about? Let them first decide where they want their plant to be located!
