Yes it is 1 point for Rs. 200/- and moreover the HP pump people do not show interest in swiping the imint card and if it only through the debit/credit of ICICI, the point gets automatically transfered to the imint (now called the pay back).

The redemption of imint points has many options and the avialable options are also very good. Minimum of 800 points is required for some valuable goods and the worth of which may be approx 150/-.

I had a SCB Titanium card, which provided a 2.5% cash back for fuel purchases along with the service charge waiver. I had this card till 2009 and was quite good and really enjoyed swiping it, but the upgrade card which I got was without this facility; probably the bank would have lost a lot of money this way. I was privileged for over two years.

Guys I am looking for a good Petrocard that will save me money. I usually fill at Bharat Petroleum near my home. My consumption is around 60L per month. (Petrol)

Any suggestions please?

There are credit cards that reverse the surcharges and there those that additionally provide you a cashback. I know of only SCB Super Value Titanium card that provides this addition (of 2.5% cashback).

Standard Chartered Titanium Credit Card :
1. 2.5% effective cashback on all fuel purchases at any fuel station.
2. 5% effective cashback on all utility bill payments done above 750 Rs (like electricity bills, mobile/internet bills etc.)
3. 750 Rs of service charges per annum.
4. Points accumulation is on other usages, not sure about the rate

They didn't stop giving Cash back.
Now the cash wont be credited in your account by default. But,
The Cash gets credited in a seperate account, which the user needs to encash by either calling them or over email.

Also, the super value titanium card is no more free.

The best option for this is to switch to Citibank Indian Oil card.

I am using the ICICI Bank Titanium credit card which gives PAYBACK for fuel and extra saving of 2.5% on fuel surcharge.

The problem with this card is that I don't receive 5 PAYBACK point for every Rs.100 fuel, sometimes its 2 sometimes its 4 no idea why. Also the surcharge is applied when not used with a ICICI machine which is all the time now.

Earlier the yearly rate was Rs.199 which they have hiked to Rs.500.

I also had a PAYBACK card which the fuel station are not interested in swiping, its true for most stations from here to Chandigarh.

Am considering an upgrade to ICICI Bank Signature Credit since the joining fee is just Rs.5000 "Loyalty discount" and the Annual Fee for the first year is Rs.0 but then its Rs.2000 after that. The real question is will it be worth the extra Rs.1500 per year.
