Dear All,
I am just deciding on the new car for myself. I really loved the Petra(Petrol). The second option is Palio(Diesel) and as third I will prefer Esteem-VXI over Getz. Getz is not worth the money more than 4.5l in my opinion(comparable to NV Sports), so instead I will prefer the zippiness and FE of Esteem.
Now you people need to help me out on a question.
If I choose a Fiat product as mentioned above. And if people's harrowing thoughts of Fiat closing down in India, or abandoning it's current product portfolio and starting afresh( a bit exaggeration) comes true, how difficult it's to maintain the car will become.--Answers in detail are welcome.....

Petra due it's very low sales figure compared to Palio (Diesel) will require a different analysis I think.

BTW I have seen Fiat dealer here in Noida mainating and servicing the Matiz.

For resale value I don't bother becoz I will never be selling as such. My father still holds his 800 after 11 years, his WagonR is now 3.2 years old and my uncle has not sold his 16 year old Maruti Omni even after acquiring new Indica, so will follow the family tradition..Ha ha....
