Good Job Shohbit - I figure Hyundai is going to figure this out and probably shut down access to the website till whenever the launch is - tomorrow? Friday? So I decided to be a good samaritan and took a screen shot of the website.

Default i 10 AT is available

Today when I was coming to office, I saw Kothari Hyundai showroom was well decorated with i10 banners. As I have to catch office, I could not stop and check. I just called them, car is available with Automatic transmission as well. They asked to visit the showroom and denied to give info on phone. They confirmed that launch is shceduled for today and you can see the car in show room.

Ya, i was all excited after finally seeing the complete car on the site only to find that all the other links like interior pics, engine specs etc. are disabled.

Some things that surprise e though:
1) A more refined version of the Santro erlx engine producing 69 bhp.
2) A car that's lighter and smaller than the getz so wont feel underpowered like the prime.
3) Offering some great features at the price: 3.88 - 4.5 (ESP /AT/sunroof)
4)Seems to be roomier than the santro.
All this makes me think....

Where does that leave the Getz Prime 1.1
(unless space is the only priority)

Exactly! now is I10 competing with its own sibling?
Also, from the website, we dont see the side beam (the black strip on either side which is there for most of the cars)... this makes it look bland from the side - like Honda City Exi.... Hope it is there for top end model....

Oh Yes, there is The Side Protection Beam - I saw it in the i10 yesterday, also it has small side protection beams for all 4 corners of the Bumpers.

The seat design are the most eye catching feature of the car. You either hate it or love it !!!

Wait and watch !!

Yeah we can see that in the website. But those mostly look as a part of the front or the back. But from the side, it is very plain.... and there is no much sheet work too, as we see in UVA... somehow, from the side, looks a bit unexciting...adding to it the old santro styled boot...
But this can be wrong when we see it actually. Remember that fish photo to which it was compared? Well, I must say, it is no way near to as ugly as that!
It is actually not at all visible - the bulbous eyes.
Let see it live - and hope to banish our bad prejudices...
