guys dont you think that operating the gear lever would be a bit painful. its quite ahead than the normal place. a gear lever being there is common, but then itisnt angled that much to give ease in operation

The cars looks good & quite Fresh.. I am not getting a clear picture on pricing since its only Delhi. If what Cartech says its right then I think its priced slightly higher than it should have.. Anyways its too early to comment I believe

Ooops. Now that doesnt sound too exciting now does it. In that case the AT should be no less than 5 lakhs on road Mumbai considering the AT wont come in the top variant. The Santro AT used to be 4.9 lakhs on road in Mumbai.

The car is definitely miles ahead of Santro and I find the pricing ok for a car that is loaded with features. The interiors look awesome and the exteriors definitely better than Santro (if not completely different). Hopefully they will launch a CRDi engine soon on this.

A good rework/re-engineering job can result in a vastly diffrent engine. Example M800 and Alto LX/LXi. Same engines, diffrent setups and bodies/inetriors etc results in two completely diffrent cars.

As for i10 being a new Santro. Well i am guessing it takes a lot from the Santro, but i believe the changes/reworks are comprehensive enough to call it a seprate if not new car.

Also i don't find anything seriously worth complaining about in either Accent or Verna. Both are good, competent cars and can be called successful from any angle you measure them.

Internationally the Accent has been replaced with the Verna and I am pretty sure the i10 will replace the Atos in Europe. But then it's not just Hyundai. Ford did the same with Ikon-Fiesta and Skoda did the same with Octavia-Laura. I hope you get the drift.

Nice looking car. Great specifications/features. Liked it.
One doubt, what was the GC for Santro? Isn't it 170? This one is having 165 only.

Looks stunning, both inside and out!
But wont the light-coloured dash reflect sunlight, as in the case of Aveo?

Red face Did you notice this?

Hyundai Website quotes the following price,
Prices for New Delhi
Model Price (Rs.)
i10 D-lite 339026 i10 Era 374501 i10 Magna 398515 i10 Magna(O) 474758 i10 Magna(O) with Sun Roof 490475
Disclaimer

The prices and features of the cars may change without prior notice. Please check the latest prices and variant specifications with your Hyundai dealer before booking the car.

These are pre VAT prices.

It seems that the price tag being discussed are pre VAT. Add 12% for the ex-showroom price. It gets into Swift and GetZ territory.
