I guess the non ABS option i.e

i10 Magna -> 398515

will go for 4.5 OTR (Min )

Swift VXi is at 4.8 OTR and
Swift LXI is at 4.5 OTR

Which one will be a better buy?

No the i10 does not have 69 bhp under its hood. Its a reworked engine alright but it produces 66.7 bhp @ 5500 rpm to be precise.

Passengers in the car should not have that hard a time over bad roads due to the tubeless tyres which also have a much higher profile.

Looking the the specifications:

Power:

Hyundai i10 66.7 PS at 5500 rpm
Santro Xing 63 PS at 5500 rpm

Torque:

Hyundai i10 10.1 kgm at 2800 rpm
Santro Xing 9.8 kgm at 3000 rpm

Kerb weight:

i10 860-952 kg (M/T)
Xing 854 kg (M/T)

Tyres:

i10 155/80 R13
Xing 155/70 R13

I think the i10 top end version will be a heavier car than the Xing and so there may not be much difference in performance. The i10 tyres are of higher profile, maybe because the Xing was perceived to have an uncomfortable ride. But the higher profile will surely detract from highway performance. The i10 is 70 mm wider, but its height is 40 mm lower. That should make it more stable and less vulnerable to cross winds.

Overall the i10 should be a better car with more features, more comfort and the latest in engine technology.

Hyundai India has done it again-overpricing yet another Car.The difference in price between the Swift zxi and the i10 magna(0) is around Rs.20000 which is not that much.Plus, you get 14" alloys with wider tyres, climate control and a bigger, more powerful and IMO,a better looking car overall.I haven't driven the i10 but I don't think it's going to perform or handle as well as the Swift.

I quite liked this one from Hyundai! Feature packed and the interiors look good for the class.

The Magna O is loaded and probably has as many features as Swift Zxi. Prices out?

Had a look at I10 at Kothari Hyundai in Pune. The interiors look awesome. Probably the best in segment, I would say.

Sorry mods, this is completely OT, but I cannot resist taking a dig at Logan. The beige interiors of I10 (and two tone at that) are a slap in the face of Mahindra Logan. Is anyone listening?

Top Speed is 200 KPH on the speedo.

There are also a number of circles in the Speedometer below - ABS, Parking Brake, Engine Check, Door Ajar, Seatbelt etc etc.

You also notice that there is no driver in the car. So obviously this speedo read (~150 kmph) is not for real. Xing's top speed is 150 kmph in 4th gear and 143 kmph in 5th gear (true speeds). Maybe i10 will have slightly higher figures.

Well, looks are subjective, but most will agree that it looks better than the estilo

As a package, looks like Hyundai has a clear winner. 1L CRDI will surely be fuel efficient and the interiors look far ahead from what we have seen till date in this segment. Not to mention features like sun-roof etc are making their debut too!

Going by the diesel engines that Hyundai have launched till now, I think its going to find buyers quite easily.

So can we expect CRDI diesel for i10 also? Is it around corner? or for Next year?
