The vehicle dimensions are smaller? Wheels are 15" instead of 16". The non CRDe Scorpio's came in 15".

The M2DI is Scorpio at lower price. Targeted for taxi wallahs but makes a good VFM package.

Not a patch on the CRDe engines though.

If you have been driving a CRDe engined Scorpio you will not like the M2DI.

Get a 2.6 CRDe.

I tested all models including M2DI, CRDE2.6, but finally settled for the mHawk.

Default yes the back and rear seats are bumpy

i own an m2di and i dont like its ride at the back and rear seats...
maybe the 15 inch tyres r contributing it...
or may be the tyre seems to be different from other radials...may b some compound difference for longer life...it seems to offer gud life as 20000k didnd make any noticeble weer....

we have a M2Di in kerela, i think it has coil springs at the rear & new scorpio's tower tail lights.

no cladding, no wheel cups & no power windows.

Few of M2DI can be seen around in New Bombay, it is pretty basic vehicle without the creature comforts akin to a Sumo or a Commander. I understand it is smaller than the regular Scorpio ???

How did they make it smaller? So you think they build a separate smaller chasis and body panels for a handful of M2Dis sold?

Default not smaller but lacks the scorpio feel

The body and suspension are same.but

1.the front bumpers are same as the 1st scorpio i mean before the crde version so lacks that front look..

2.no clading means it lost its suv look also

3.the tyres are smaller so we feels a gap in there,,,

4.the service centre guys said there are some changes in the brake system also..the reason for the po0r braking...

Hi Raj, zma, you are right.

It looks smaller because of the tyres, and styling.
