Anyone Has Got Any Pix or any News About the Same

Also Is there Any RS Variant in the Offering?

Tell me , Because I am gonna buy a RS soon , so will have to make the purchase if the newer one doesnt offer a RS

Knowing Skoda - expect it to be launched not until late 08.

The Ambiente and The Rider is One and the Same thing

Earlier base model of Octavia Was Called Ambiente
but then later changed to Rider

Don't know how many countries are selling the old look octavia. But the ACI article clearly mentioned that the Octavia we have in India (and not the Laura) is getting a facelift because the design is getting dated in comparison to the competition. My brother is keen on buying an Octavia, but I have asked him to wait for a few months. I think, it should just be the bumper/grill combo that will change.

The Octavia is still sold in plenty of other countries in Asia and Europe ( including UK ) - The only difference is Skoda here sells it for a Bomb whereas other countries probably get it cheaper compared to other cars.

I think the Laura here is sold as the Octavia mostly around the world.

IMHO, most europeans car makers are not into 'facelifts'? it is VERY unlikely that skoda will give an upgrade to the old octavia only in India. Not a single part in Octy is localized - so a facelift that is designed and implemented for indian market is unlikely. But i could also be plain wrong.

High time for the facelift of the Skoda Octavia but is it happening? If it is then it is probably the best kept secret of the Indian automotive scene thus far with none of the magazines delivering a scoop on it.

Dude Dont Know whether Its the New Superb But Definitely Not the Laura

I Think Its not the Superb Either Because the Light Styling is Different in the Superb and a Superb would definitely have the power washer . I would Try To Scan The Superb Pics From the Autocar of this month and upload it here

But There is Definitely A Facelift on The Octavia(Read : Not Laura )

Obviously the Superb Is Also Coming in A New Design
