when is kizashi coming to india

Does any one have an idea when suzuki is going to bring kizashi to india.The car looks really awesome the launch of this car may once again affect honda sales it may have features of cars above its segment ,like sx4,is honda going to launch a new civic?

that model shown at auto expo with the same rims for 10 laks can only come to india when i go to sleep at night. and then you get up. you still dont have the future cars from suzuki at all. 2010 is not that far away but trying to say its cheaper than civic and cedia im having my doubts.

Not for 10 lakhs it will be 10lacs + segment likely to be near 15 lakh range. And I seriously doubt it will have same looks as shown at the expo.

What? We dont want any turbo petrol, a 1.9 DDIS engine will do just fine, but MSIL should make sure it doesnot rattle. A 5 Lac car rattling can get away, not a 10Lac car

i dont think the kisashi is going to be in india.the ET guys are mad and they just jott down any trash they feel like.dont wait for it to be launched to buy a car else you will end up not buying one.

Just came across this article today in the Economic Times. Suzuki will soon roll out its D-segment competitor to the Civic, Corolla etc. in the form of Kizashi which will roll out from their Manesar plant. The car will feature Suzuki's new six-speed transmission and a 2-litre turbo petrol engine.

Seems like a two-year wait will be worth its salt knowing Suzuki's tried and tested performance in India.

Knowing how aggressive is Maruti/Suzuki in bringing new products in Indian market it will be a very welcomed change. Hopefully it would put some sense into Skodas and VWs on this side of the world.

Will this be brought to india,i doubt.I have a feeling that we are waisting time on the thread.But if it makes to india i am damn sure it will be a serious competition for civic,and even accord,magnum,cedia etc.But i dont know whether it will be production ready soon.

Its just a prototype like the A star,being present in many exhibitions throughout world,just to showcase the design strength of the company..thats it,so stop dreaming if any such kind of prototypes will be launched for public.even the Tata's had removed some concept cars which were displayed at many motor shows,but what do we have here the Indica and some odd clones of the indigo

Seeing Suzuki pulling concept 1, 2, 3... of Kizashi actively in the past 1-2 years, I am sure they are pretty much taking interest in releasing it in India/China if not debuting it here. It is also mentioned that concept 3 will be final before going into production..
