As for the number of NBS International, check out the Scorpio site. Not sure if you know that they have one - :: Welcome to Mahindra Scorpio :: & look for the dealer link. Choose your state & city & let me know if you see the NBS International number. If you do, call the number.

Next you'll be wondering if Bhasin Motors is also for real

It is overpriced. I think you didn't understand what I said - I meant that the 10,08,385 sounds more realistic than the 929,800 that you posted!
I think I've made my point so I'm out of here till I post the comparison next week. Sheesh
me too will leave this thread for sometime till you come back with the comparision, but before that if anybody wants some comparision, then carwala is there to check out for comparision.
to all.

Suman, don't give a shock by saying that scorpio is gone past 10 to Raj, just re-check, it should be 75k less
i never compared A/C with sensors, i did compare safari's camera with scorpio's sensors. about a/c, all that i said was its not a necessity to drive, but its a creature comfort that is given to make our drive comfortable, same as auto wipers/headlights.

the scorpio VLX on-road is already past 10, i bought it for 11,68,000/-

They don't have a pricelist on the website, it says "prices under updation" or something which is why I had to call the dealers.

The M hawk comes in two variants - VLS & VLX, the VLX is the top end one with the tyretronics etc that Raj has been proclaiming about. If I'm going to do a comparison, I will naturally do it with the top end M Hawk (VLX) vs the top end Safari 2.2 VTT (VX)

Man, I got it from the website! I can't PM you the number because I get a message saying that you don't accept PMs or some such thing. So you'll have to find the number yourself

EDIT: Thanks Sumit, you've done all the hard work for Raj!

After all the heat and fireworks on this thread, here's a sobering thought: I bought my Scorpio WITHOUT doing a TD.
How does that grab you dahlings????!!

Doesn't surprise me, I've done it myself in the past. TD factor comes in when you have more than one option in your mind. If you're sure of what you want to buy, a TD is not a necessity, you could still do it more as a reiteration.....that's my cheap two bits on the concept

And I have done that with my Victa.
Well, almost. I did a TD of the NA version, booked the TCIC version w/o a TD of the TCIC version.

I bought my Safari 3.0 without TD at all (talk about passion and liking)

though have driven TCIC and non CRDe scorp before that.

anup, its just that you liked scorpio and did not consider anything at all, in that case it does'nt matter, and you will never regret about buying a scorpio since that's what you wanted.

My first vehicle was a 1973 second hand Amby bought in 1977 with grandfather's dough and subsequently owned a 1962 Bullet, 1990 M800 DX, 1990 4 x 4 Gypsy, 1993 Maruti 1000, 1998 4 x 4 Safari, 1999 Esteem LX and 2004 Scorpio.

All were purchased without a TD. I just decide on the ride and then go for it...

BTW, have voted for the 2.2 DICOR..
