front view of the car may change?
A Camry's style upfront?

looks pretty authentic to me .I am no expert on ps ,but if we take into consideration the background and the surrounding area it seems pretty real to me .
the design seems ok if not really ugly, actually considering the limitations seems a pretty acceptable job- the only change I would want is maybe make it a notchback and in doing so acheive a better flowing integration of the boot.

good effort amit

First of all very good scoop of a a much awaited car. But then it leaves a lot to be desired. I am not a fan of the SX4's rear and this one looks worse than that.

Arrow Not bad

IMHO, the idea of attaching a boot to Swift was a bad .
Now when ppl at Maruti have done it, I think they have done a decent job. It wasn't at all an easy job considering Swift's design.
Doesn't look as bad as the photoshopped ones elsewhere on this forum. Will sell if priced right.
BTW, what price do you guys expect for the VXi? Around 5.25 against the Swift's 4.85 (OTR Bangalore)?

Mods, this is true. This is a real exclusive pic! (Pic... Not car!)

Being a fan of the Swift, i'd say The car looks BAD in the pic!

Great find Amit..!
IMO, this car should sell if priced correctly, considering the gem of an engine(DDiS) thats going to come with it.
BTW.. i was not expecting the rear to be this good also.. in that case Maruti has done a good job in fixing a boot which is quiet an awkward task on a car like Swift.

I agree,.....what I am surprised about is one persons starts making a point and almost all & I mean all have just added oil to fire by taking pot shots!!!!

I agree its quirky,...but not distasteful. Yes to each one his own & I cant force one to appriciate it.. But there have been far more quirkier designs that have sold well. The NHC, The Toyota Echo Sedan to name a few.

If executed well, This car will do well for city dwellers with its compact diamension, and hopefully frugal pricing. If Suzuki decides to sell one with a Auto-tranny that would be a fore-sight!

More than the looks, it is the pricing that will decide whether this sells or not.
Remember Baleno ?

And going by the recent past, I am sure Maruti will price it very competitively. And then it will sell like hot cakes
