IMO, the only Hatch to Sedan mod that came out right was Ford Ikon (though the hatch never came to India).

...maybe Opel Corsa too.

Indica to Indigo and Palio to Siena / Petra were bad jobs.

and same goes for Corsa and Sail. Somehow GM manages to add / remove boot from their cars pretty good.

The car behind is a Swift. But some distance back, there is a car on the lift post. It seems to be swift sedan. However, cant rule out the possibility of it being SX4.

EDIT: those tail- lamps on the car lifted in the air suggest its an SX4.

I guess we have to take it as genuine, unless proved otherwise. Amit has made himself clear that he saw it. We have no reason to distrust him. Hope the car comes out soon, to end the confusion.

There is very little difference between this & the SX4, why would maruti want to do this ?

Btw, this car would definitely make SX4 look like Miss world. I never used to like WagonR, then Zen Estilo launched, and how I love WagonR now.

Also, if the pic is true, this could be the first sedan in the world with steeper front windshield than the rear one. May be one should drive it reverse!
