Guess this makes sense for the Fiat-Tata venture now... the Indica Dicor is starting at 4.25 ex-showroom delhi, which makes the Palio 45K more.

They have now covered every price point

Ek Dil Do Jism !!

The fiat-india.com site is not yet updated with Palio 1.3 MJD specs and price list. Once we get to know the features/engine specs then the features and the price can be mapped and can be concluded whether 4.7L ex showroom price is justifiable. Hope it comes with 14" tubeless tyres with alloys and ABS as standard.

So Swift's waiting period might make people go for Palio 1.3 MJD... Once the trust is built, FIAT gonna be the first brand to go with instead of as an alternative...

I sure hope Fiat can deliver these cars quickly enough and take the space it had ceeded to Suzuki.

I called Concorde Motors Chennai today and they said the car should be available in a month's time. I dont know how true that is , bit thats what I was told

So according to the FIAT-India website and the PDF published on their website, Palio 1.3 MJD is coming in 1st qtr of 2008.... Swift has got a new competitor coming its way...

I hope we get variants of 1.3 MJD. DLE,DLX with price about 30k-50K more than SLE,SLX. Hope to get ABS atleast as an option. Almost decided on Hyundai i10 but with official news of 1.3MJD, will wait till March end. If priced well I will be definitely getting 1.3MJD

Wow - that is killer pricing by FIAT for the 1.3 Palio. This is one fight I am going to enjoy - Palio 1.3 v/s Swift 1.3.

Palio 1.3 is being launched month end and deliveries start 1st week of Feb (correct me if I am wrong)

I spoke to Fortune Motors in Mumbai today. They said they haven't recieved a circular as yet from Fiat on the launch.
