Magazines mentioned 170 Nm torque.

I got these details from a Fiat delear who is a close friend of mine in Hyderabad. But he was also not sure about these details. Maximum fiat delears know that fiat is going to launch a Multijet Palio, but they are afraid to say this coz it will ruin the current sales of Stiles. He was not sure about the ABS and airbags,even he didnt got a correct info from Fiat, it was something like a rumour he said. This two could be the contents of a limited edition(maybe). He also didnt got the full details. But he promise that he will let me know with recent updates.

The measurements seem to be for Punto than the Palio.
I have no doubt these are wrong.
4.8 Lakhs would be a killer price for the top-end version.

Seems like the info is wrong.

Palio Stile length is 3827, height is 1440, width is 1620 and BS motoring people test drove it and confirmed torque is 170 NM @ 2000 RPM.

Plus the palio stile 1.1 weighs 990KG kerb how can diesel be 980 . Its probably gonna be around 1100 KG kerb.

The specs are surely of the GP, but how the hell does it weight just 970kgs, dude your info is terribly wrong. The GP weighs 1205kgs.

That information is NOT correct. That website (maxabout.com) has mixed up Palio, Grande Punto (and who knows what else).
Fiat has shown the Palio MJD at the autoexpo. Its exactly same as the petrol palio as far as the dimensions are concerned. We have to wait for Fiat to announce other tech specs.

just got the latest issue of Overdrive mag, which has the article on the palio MJD 1.3 there is no mention of ABS or Airbags being offered on the 1.3 JMD this is bad. I hope there is a DLX version of the 1.3 MJD with ABS atleast

Palio MJD may not have ABS & Airbags, if you need that, wait for the G Punto later this year!
