According to January 2008 Autocar - the weights

Swift - P

980-LXi / 1000-VXi / 1010-ZXi

Swift - D

1065-LDi / VDi-1075

Palio 1.1 - 990

So I am guessing - Palio 1.2 - 1010 and Palio 1.6 - 1020

Any one help here ?

No NC, MJD is heavier than Swift Diesel.

Guys ,good news Palio 1.3 mjd is in transit for all dealers.Hope to reach the dealerships in 3-4 days time.So the launch wont be delayed beyond that.

Vivek Automobiles Delhi says price Rs 4.73 Lac for top end version MJD. But no brochures etc avaialble yet. Says will confirm in two days !!

If 4.73 lacs in Delhi, then it should be close to 5.00 lacs in Pune/Mumbai. Isn't it? keeping one eye on the launch. will rush to BU Bhandari to check it out.

The sales guy called me again. Got some more information about Stile D.

* Base model to cost < 5 lac
* Price ~ 25,000 less than its corresponding swift D model.
* Only two models as far as he is aware.
