I know. But a sub 4 lac Esteem is too good to resist. With that 1.3L Aluminum block and 85 horses and that lightweight chassis, I loved the car when I drove my uncle's Esteem couple of years back.
Also, even the old Zen is out, but there's no problem as far as I know with its spare parts and service options.

Too bad a maruti true value showroom quoted 3.5 for a second hand car...2006 model wagonR what do you think guys...is it a fair price

But, the major part of these BIG DISCOUNTS consists of exchange bonus which is a mere hogwash !

So prospective buyers don't take these discounts in a big way !

is it fair?
Depends on actual condition & milage ran for the car. Also, True Value [or any dealers] are there to make as much money as possible. You check the simlar year car, ofcourse with closer spec to yours, it should be atleast 4+ lac in True value.
