All variants get the facelift, the new grille and tail lamps, some features would be added to ZXi to push it.

Guys,

I had gone with my friend yesterday to get his new swift. Well at first glance I didnt notice many changes. But yes, after inspecting it closely, I found some changes:

1. the tail-lamps have a new design - more transparent - bulbs are more visble now
2. the curve on the back around the number plate has changed - more curvy.
3. Odometer font has been changed and the 'EPS' glow bulb is gone now its a 'steering wheel icon'
4. Digital clock comes pre-fitted now
5. Rs. 9500/- expensive now

6. Front grill has a minor change - the rounded shaped grill spaces are now oval shaped.
7. the fabric on seats have changed - more grey in colour.

And speed_devil its not the one you have posted.
I would be posting some of the pictures shortly.

I saw the circular from maruti sent to it's delars..( Was in black & white )

ZXI has all the stuff including integrated stereo + price hike of 12k exshoroom ~ 15 OTR

VxI , LxI has price hike of ~6k exshoroom ~ 8k OTR

No ZDI , No changes in the mirrors , so split seats , no under seat storing trays

Only changes in

Front , rear bumpers ( I coun't make diffrence from the current one from the pics provided )
rear lamps ( They are visibly different )
Speedometer ( Supposed to be spiced! )
fabric leather
tilt steering ( ZXI only )

I guess for all other variants except ZXI , 2007 swift should be VFM with the discount , less price.

hey guys ,

sorry for being under cover for the last one day.i dint have access to the internet .zxi would come with integrated stereo.which comes with stearing controls.it would be in the showrooms next week by monday every where.
i have pictures with me but not loading,and moreover you guys can see it personally next week at the showrooms.

The steering mounted audio control is a cool addition. Waiting for some pics to be uploaded.

I can confirm that the spicing of the speedometer means that the light now will be white instead of orange .

I got white light instead of the OE green in my Lancer for 800 bucks - so I have a spiced up instrument cluster LOL

Seems like the Swift spruce up is a knee jerk reaction to the Palio 1.3 MJD launch - well I guess good for the customer..

Could be that they're trying to keep the Indian version current with the global one as they've given it facelift in other markets as well. From the descriptions, the changes seem similar but won't be able to say for sure till the pictures come out

800 for a color change? All you need is paint the bulb to the color you need right?

No, no JK. The whole instrument panel will be white. Its black now. Something like what was done with the Esteem, black to white
