Gets is better in the straight line ... swift better through the curves and Im the curves kinda guy , the straights see me only touch 120 kmph so doesn't make a diff how quick one is on the straights .

Congrats on the buy Khaadu..

I'm still not able to decide on the rear bumpers. Have to go check them out. All the rest seem good. Welcome additions to an already attractive package.

I agree. Can't for the life of me spot what they've changed in the front - had read something about the grille and bumber but cant see the difference

thanks for pointing that out Akshay. I was feeling quite lost, especially since i'm supposed to buy one of these (either the old or the new) in the next few weeks

anyone else think the old grille looks better? the metal grillework seems sportier than the new plastic stripes in my view

seems like i was wrong. whats there on the newer car is there on the older one too. the pic of the red swift seems to have a modded air damn mesh. just google for pics of old pics and they too have the horizontal slats. seems like theres no difference in the front.

khaadu's car has a different wire mesh grill in the bumper. The honeycomb grill on top is of a different pattern.

The bumper dam now has 2 slats instead of 3. More like a cost cutting measure.

Guys , I had a tough time noticing the so called changes when I reached the dealership !! Only the change to the tail lights was noticeable .... the rest I only noticed when I parked the 2 cars side by side . Also the white back light in the dials according to me ain't too exciting , the orange gave a better effect .

All in all hardly a visible difference ... the price hike aint due to these changes , that was just one of them regular hikes coz if one was to get these changes made -- it wudn't cost too much .
