It could a very cautious Ford deciding on a one-size-fits-all approach in India.

Ford already has Fusion hatch..and thats not doing well here in India. Any hatch above 6 L is hard is succeed here.

Maserq, This fiesta has been shown in most of the Indian Auto websites. Even
Vicky.in - Personal webpages of Vicky had given this facelift detail few months back. The present fiesta is
kind of getting boring so Ford surely needs to do a facelift at the earliest!

since fusion is not doing well there is a chance that they may stop the fusion and launch the new fiesta sedan and the hatchback that was spotted testing sometime back

Now that ford fiesta has refreshed their line-up, there is no news of any face lift. When is this going happen?

Yeah, since ford india has launched a new line up for the fiesta (Ford India introduces new Fiesta line-up- Automobiles-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times), i doubt if the facelift stated in this thread are gonna come out any soon. My guess is it would atleast take six months before ford india touches fiesta again.

i think there seems to be a mistake here
I think Karan seems to have confused himself with the Ford Fiesta sold here in India with the Ford Fiesta/Ford FOcus for the European markets.

I dont see a reason for Ford India to change the design of the current Ford Fiesta. I hear its running in good numbers.

your right , there is no facelift coming soon , at the moment the focus could be in the pipeline though pricing it could be tough to match the civic

It will be amazing to have the 1.6L Diesel though the specific variant might be close to 10L. If they work on the rear suspension too it will be great. As it is the rear suspension is a problem area in fiesta.

If Ford is going for a major face lift in terms of complete redesign of lights, bumper then they may not have another fiesta version based on the "verve" concept anytime before 2011!

The existing rear, in fact, looks cleaner. May be they should have done the face lift in the front. And also the interior, to make it equal to or better than Aveo.
The headlamp shape reminds me of the Ikon.
