The car looks brilliant - takes on some of the WRC pedigree Ford has.

Anyone have pics of the rear or do we have to wait for the official pics from Ford.
Also, doesn't the front end look vaguely like the Palio Stile? I mean the headlamp and grills basic design.

I wonder what has changed in the regular (non-sport) version? Any pics, anyone?

May the price remain sensible!

there u go
The rear bumper gets lips as well. Its a good thing they kitted the entire car rather than just the front like in the ford ikon. The rear tail lamps also get minute changes

@ glass - The normal variants get all the changes minus the bodykit and the 15" rims.

It does look slightly better than before. Did expect some better looking front headlamps.

@BP - Thanks for the pics bro.
The car looks amazing! However, was hoping that they would change the rear a bit.
just noticed that the tyres are Goodyear Eagle NCT5s. Wished Ford would have given some performance oriented tyres instead of these.

Hey guys, any news over this?

can't expect anything from Ford's website cause they are still showing the old price of the Ikon but No news from any news agency about New Fiesta's launch.

A friend of mine works with an event management company. She had told me that there will be an official launch on the 18th.

Had a talk with the Ford sales Guy.

There are new 4 petrol versions coming up
1.4 Exi
1.6 Zxi
1.6 Sxi
1.6 S (Sports)

Diesel same as earlier.

1.6 S has 15" alloy wheels, sport pedals, rear spoiler.

All version comes with a Biege interior.
Sxi has wooden panelling, 2 airbags and a Single CD MP3 player other than earlier fetures.

The sad part is that 15" wheels are not coming in diesel. :(

Maybe I am going blind but the changes are cosmetic to say the least. Its certainly not a redesign. Ford is known for making these trivial changes and launching a massive marketing campaign to push it as a new model, remember all the Icon versions that looked the same.

But I like the Fiesta as it is, the Brazilian 'update' I have seen some pics of look more like an updated Icon than Fiesta. The Indian version imho looks better.

Yes, it is stated a facelift - not a redesign.
