Logan MCV - Page 2 - Team-BHP

I wanted to buy it but when I spoke to someone inside Mahindra who said that it would be a long wait therefore went ahead and bought the closest thing resembling it in the market..lolz.
Jokes apart but this was expected around late 2007-early 2008 but still no sign of it. If i remember correctly this was not what was displayed at the auto expo this year. the vehicle on display was the steppe not this MCV.

It will be first car of its type here(7 seater station wagon). I loved the Logan, for its practical value and space. It is well built for Indian roads, this vehicle will only make its position better. I am looking forward to this car made available.

I think Mahindra will try to place it in between the Inginio and the Scorpio.

Any reason why this specific model was discussed ? Cause the Logan has multiple models all over the world.
I doubt all of them would be launched in India.

eg
- Logan Pickup
- Logan Steppe
- Logan SUV
- Logan Hayon (hatch)

Probably because after Sedans the most desirable car in India are SUV's after which comes the 7/8/9 seaters. It is for this reason, Renault & Mahindra might get this car here. Since SUV does not come cheap and they will not be able to share any thing with the current Logan, it is likely they will get the MCV and the steppe.

This won't be seen by us Indians as station wagon(station wagons have poor performance record in India) but as a 7 seater car against the likes of TAVERA, the SUMO GRANDE and to some extent the SCORPIO.

Ofcourse the Qualis will always be the best in Indian minds.
