The side profile of the Dzire looks yuck. However if it can retain the swift driving dynamics, my vote would be the dzire.

Totally agree with you ! From side angle its weird. But i guess we will get used to it. From the reviews i heard rear seat comfort in Dzire is improved but not enough for a sedan so that could be one of the drawbacks . But all in all Dzire wins hands down!

My preference would be as follows.

1. Swift dZire. (Everybody knows why!)
2. TATA Indigo.
3. Accent.
4. Logan.

Logan looks the worst of the lot according to me. Dzire is just a matter of time before we get used to the boot design.

Good that this poll closes on April 2nd. Because, there'll be soon an avalanche of discounts in the entire car scene below 8L. Then we should start a fresh visit to the market again.

Default Not the right poll

This poll is not right. You are trying to compare 3 proven cars against one which has only looks to show for it and maybe a couple of test drives. Obviously, the newness of the Dzire or say the curiosity associated with the Dzire will make it the poll leader. Rightfully, wait for 4-5 months before this poll is done. That will be fair comparison when all parameters can be compared.
I am still keenly following the Logan vs. Accent vs. Indigo debate

I still think that it is the front that will need getting-used-to. The rear is fine. The front does not match the sedan looks

dzire gets my vote for sheer VFM. Nitin, there is nothing changed in dzire except addition of a boot. The handling, engine etc are of Swift which is tried and tested. Looks get the last priority IMHO

I agree. I like the way the rear has come about. Was expecting it to be a disaster like the Indigo, which fortunately it isn't.

Voted for Dzire, only because of it is VFM.
Looks, I think people will get used to.

But yeah, if Logan sees a price cut and Mahindra throws in some goodies (like ABS and all) , then its going to be a tough fight.

VFM Logan will definitely take a beating, heard that they are planning to or have announced price cuts.

Mine would be-
1. Swift DZIRE.
2. TATA Indigo CS (CS specifically as i feel indigo may be taken off when new one comes, and only CS may continue in the market)
3. Logan.
4. Ford ikon/ Accent.

The mechanicals are all proven in the hatch. What is there to test in the sedan? (Other than whether the boot would fall off! )

have an Indigo for the last 1 year and have found it pretty good in all respects that matter most to me as a user -- have voted for it -- the Dzire is not on my wishlist
