Dzire - if one needs a car for himself
Logan - if one needs to regularly carry more people
Indigo - for those who want an option cheaper than Logan or want better rear seat.
Accent - if one needs a pure aesthetic old style sedan. Dzire/Logan/Indigo have boot as an after thought.

Swift looked like a frog from behind. This one looks like a frog that has grown a tail - a tadpole!
Notwithstanding the physical appearance, I think the car may turn out to be a winner, provided Maruti prices it right. Swift lineage, m-jet heart and now a boot to boot! Maruti has done it again!

Logan, and boot as an afterthought?

AFAIK, Logan was designed to be a sedan in the first place!

My point exactly. What I meant was that the Dzire offers features that much more expensive cars still don't offer in India.

i think dzire will be the one that will come on top.
it has got a diesel version, right pricing, its from suzuki for which swift is a proven brand here and so dzire will also appeal to any public who appreciates swift.only thing i feel not nice is its boot which looks too tall.
1.dzire
2.logan
3.indigo

If you see the C-Pillar joint, you can make out the attached boot. Renault attached a boot to the sedan. In India, sedan was launched first.

I guess ford ikon is also in same category and should have been part of the poll. Although that wont change the stats/my vote away from dzire as I feel all others (except may be logan) are outdated.

I can't believe 71% of the people have voted for the dzire even before they have actually seen/TDed the car. Even the SX4 did not have this kind of a welcome on T-BHP. Agreed, it looks a little better than the sucks4, but still ??

If there would have been a Fiat or a Baleno in the poll then things would have been different.

Please understand that this is a pure speculation poll. Where the question is : Which do you THINK will win?

Not a matter of TD or review etc.....

Is it a coincidence that the only European car in the poll is Logan?
