The best and worst color of a car...

LOVE: Purple-grey paint (not aware of the exact name) of the FIAT Sienna. Was it a standard colour or a custom paint finish by the dealership?
Hate: Most Fluorescent shades like green, pink... they make vehicles look so Hideous!

...apart from the subjective aspect of colour, in my experiance the colour you choose has some impact on the resale value of the car..am sure a pink zen estilo will fetch much less than a silver one at resale...worldwide the most common colour is 'metallic silver', also i guess silver is the most easy color to maintain(better than black).

Choosing a colour is really very tough. Actually that part is not tough, but the toughest part is listening to comments of people who want to rate your colour choise for "your" car.

The Worst : Black.

Like- Silver for long cars(Sedans), Navy blue (BMWs),Black on SUVs(all those GMC cars look great in american TV series(24)

Dislike- Pink lipstick Estilo eww!! n Bright yellows.. a bit jarry for my taste(might work on rally cars but not local city cars)

Color is subjective,like clothes we wear!What looks awesome on one,can look yuckky on another.Eg:Tweety yellow on Zen or Skoda RS-COOL;same tweety yellow on an Accent-Yuck.

My Fav-Black(Though High maintenance)
Dislike:Forest Dew Green on Santro.

I agree that yellow does not suit most cars...but just have a look at yellow on the sporty ones. A great example would be the yellow Octy vRS, which unfortunately has been discontinued (I mean the colour). But I drool at one whenever I see one But then again I understand its a subjective viewpoint. For me, black looks good on most of the larger cars, while silver/beige looks better on the smaller models.
