new sonata or azera at mathura road showroom - Team-BHP

the other day had gone to the porsche showroom at mathura road and while passing by the hyundai showroom, i saw this new model and looked to me like a facelifted sonata or something... anybody have any idea abvout it ??

might be the facelifted sonata,cause looking at the sonata sales even after t being a bargain at that price,i think it would be far from being wise to launch the azera,unless it is sold for the price of accord

Sonata had a minor facelift in the interiors and the front grill in few markets.
So mostly my bet is on the Sonata.

was its number TN 22 X XXXX something?

then it is an azera, in which the company officials travel.

yes it was this car .. dint see the reg. no. but the car was silver.

That outlet of Hyundai known as HMP is their regional office & sop will always have cars like this one or the Santa Fe or the Tiburon standing there. Sometimes these are for use by the top honchos who have their offices there & at other times it's for display purposes.

azera is used by mr. lheem the MD of hmil. he has been transferred from chennai to dehli. hyundai sales are quite low and they are having major labour issues.

yes face lifted sonata is on cards very soon as a response to new accord . Technical details are not yet available but a mumbai dealer has confirmed to of that its coming soon. This is likely in the range of 16 lakhs for top of the line .

yes i remember that car in fact i had myself posted a pic of azera in chennai on the forum quite some time back

20 days back when i was there for my Elantra's service. I had seen this Azera Black one, TN number V6. Man it is a huge car. Bigger than Sonata. But i had seen in the Service Station not in the showroom.

But it really looks much better than the pic provided in the thread. Side view is exactly that of a BMW. Oh boy! Huge tyres man.

Lol you can find it there itself at Hyundai Plaza, Mathura road. All the day standing there. Actually in this Hyundai Officials from korea travels in New Delhi. 100% confirmed.

The car is a real beauty. Ultiamte tail lights man i'm in love with its tail lights. Forget Accord. Forget camry. Just watch azera's tail lights in real.

I will get the pics on my next visit to hyundai plaza.
