wow 42 kmpl now that should take Hyundai in Guinness record book for beating some targets set by expensively researched Hybrid or eco friendly cars.
we all know how much the media persons get paid to report all this bull****.

if they only type it gives 15-20 then also people will buy the story 43 is pushing itttt. oh well anything above 10-15 and im more than happy anyways,

Poor auto journalists. I hope they stayed at some really nice 5-star plus resort, because they never get to stay in such places either.

Like someone here mentioned, how come people get to know about these rallys only after the event is over and the 'results' are ready?

what is the message hyundai want to show with it. verna is a good car. we drive car for pleasure, luxury, speed and ofcourse average, but not this kind of average.

i think even hybrid cars wont perform like this !

I guess they are confused. Must be per 42.4 km per gallon.

not sure whether it is the same rally,which was being shown on NDTV`s raftaar (saturday morning).i dont think they will lie about the figures if this is the same rally.

Its not uncommon for diesel cars to give 40kmpl in mileage rallys.

What is the relevance of these tests? Does anyone know, what are the conditions\rules etc for this. I am trying to understand the practical use of this test. Somebody plz enlighten me...
