Car Used in the Thumbs Up commercial

Hi,
guys most if you must have seen the Thumbs Up commercial featuring Akshay Kumar and the more interesting orange car (which looks like a Contessa).
Does anybody know whom it belongs to and who was behind the mods ?I simply loved the color and the alloys it sports.

I think the car used in the commercial is opel Manta (I may be wrong also )

Muscle cars had just hit the gym in the 70's. some to loose the "flab" and some to get it!

I feel its a 1970's Dodge challenger replica. Looks too small to be the real thing. Maybe something like the countach replica in mumbai!!
