i got an email from maruti for sx4 offering limited edition with rs 25000/- on exchange for SX4.

Let me tell you its a pure eyewash if you do not bargain for your old car very hard. They will evaluate your old car almost 20K-25K less than what you can get

what does it mean?You have to give your old SX4+Rs.25k for a new SX4.is it something like this.make it clear.

any old car of any brand any model + 25000

Maruti's discounts are always eyewash. Last year they gave me a Credit card which says additional discount when upgrading to a Maruti turns out that is true only if you exchange from True value which anyways quote a lower amount besides the MUL service center levies 2.5% extra charges if CC is used & even if its Maruti's CC.

So the bottom line is dont read too much into it

You can complain to the CC company that they are charging 2.5% extra on credit card. It is against RBI rules.

I'am sure that the CC company will take action on the service centre.

Here in Delhi, I have never been charged a penny extra while paying by CC. I've been getting my Wagon R serviced from MASS for about 4 years now and paying by CC always. Strange!!
