I was admiring Bravo's looks (read drooling) just then I saw the expected price. Now the car looks really ugly to me! Just an overgrown Punto and nothing more. Fiat 500 is a seriously pathetic car for its price, compared to which VW Beetle actually seems a better car.

It's gonna be launched with the 1.6MJD and to be priced at about 17 Lakhs. Hope it hits the market soon.
Whats the USP?

1. Looks? No. GP looks better, and its 10L cheaper!
2. Brand? No. FIAT brand in India doesn't have enough value to sell VFM cars like Punto/ Linea, forget a 17L hatch!
3. After-sales? A 17L hatch customer will the one having a Merc/ BMW in his garage and looking at something unique for his city trips? Will he sent his car to a TATA garage?
4. Pedigree? Its no Beetle, not even a 500.

Sad to see such a move from FIAT India, when good cars like Punto and Linea are struggling to move off the shelves! Instead of diverting time and attention to their main products - they are simply wasting time on a model destined to flop!

Well, this is a problem, they see some thing coming from FIAT and straight way RIP with posts commenting on their A S S , something which has been discussed till death . Anyhow I am not surprised at those RIP posts. no offense Please

As for Bravo goes, she will never make it to Indian shores . what ever bravo;s you see on Indian roads were imported some 2-3 years back and are primarily used by FIAT india;s top management for their commuting requirements. Sort of official cars. I don;t see a point in keeping this thread open.

17 lacs for a FIAT with TATA A.S.S

It will fail miserably!! Its high time Fiat start their operations independently in India!

The Bravo is a sweet car and if priced well could be considered a hit!

don't know why but what made you post that shocking smiley here . TATA A.S.S is not that BAD either that they cannot service a 17 lakh car or u mean that FIAT cannot sell a 17 lakh Car in india
