I am waiting for best Automatic Diesel Hatch or Sedan for City use. Right now only automatic Sedan I short listed is Corolla but its Petrol. I am buying this 2 years downthe line.

I have lost interest on Fortuner because it won't be VFM in India.

I am waiting for my finance situation to improve to buy Safari! for highway cruise. I guess it will be Petrol one.

Right now for Indian road condition I would like to spend maximum 12 lacs on cars while buying.

Regards,

Ravi.

as for my personal car i really dont have a clue. its really tough to upgrade from an OHC which is truly driver's car. Waiting for the new lancer though.

Next Year march, It can be anything among Honda jazz, A-star or Swift ZXI, Swift DDiS.
Depends on Pricing as well as Built quality.

as of now i would like but now sure how soon but in 2008 or 2009 one is coming home for sure.

honda civic automatic Vspec
suzuki swift diesel ZDI automatic
mitsubishi lancer normal or evo automatic
toyota innova automatic (have manual already)
hyundai verna sx automatic

plus i would like all these cars to come with company fitted sunroof. all i can think of, these are potential contenders but last 4 do not exist, some do but not in this country.

Would'nt be selling my esteem for a couple of years or so (although its done over 6 years with almost zero issues *touchwood*).

When I decide to buy another car, it'll in all probability be from the maruti stable again. This is mostly due to the reliability and dealer/service network.

I'd say an SX4 would be most likely but in a couple of years MUL will have newer model's lined up so my choice will be based on the lineup from MUL then.

Considering Palio MJD / Swift DDiS / DZire / Getz 1.1 or 1.3 - as a replacement for the Marina.

May drop the Getz because of the impending increase in fuel prices & the expected change to the i20. I like the current styling much better. I feel the Getz CRDI is over priced.

As of now, my next car should be one of these 3:
Safari 2.2
Fiat Grande Punto Multijet
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo

Might go for a used Honda Accord (has to be in white color)
