Whats the price of VTEC PLUS? I would suggest you to wait for few months for NNHC. You would get a better , Bigger & new technology.

I would suggest he wait a few months to get good discounts on the NHC when the NNHC is about to be released.

As mail4ajo mentioned if you can wait for few months then you might get better discounts. Try waiting atleast till July- August.

gone are those days when you get good discounts. in bombay they make sure they empty their entire inventory and then sell new models so they are not stuck with anything of the whole lot. some people nicely waited for accord launch thought they will get a v6 at good price found out every dealer did not have one car also to sell. they simply sell it all for a month do not take orders and then launch the new models.

True, I hope honda is going to do the same with city also, they might offer 40k discout at Max in sep 08 , that time they remove all freebees like 3 M sunfilim + under chassis coating , Body cover etc that will cost you 11k+ , it is more or less same

Frankly speaking you are getting a lot of freebies with the car along with discount. This makes for an attractive deal at this point of time.
IMHO, just reconsider waiting till october 2008.

aaggoswami: Thanks, there are couple issues waiting for NNHC

1) Its corporate purchase & I need a car very badly
2) I feel that NNHC will be little bigger to play in 8.5 to 11 lk range:- parking problem & well out of my range. (always I wanted the fully loaded model)
3) It is all new product so Honda will not keep ABS, Airbags as standard, what I saw from the spy pic is there is no body colored door handle and alloy
4) At this moment NHC gives a better leg room, comfort and VTEC, more over I like NHC than NNHC.

The NNHC will be clearly one level ahead than what we have. This is expected. So it might be correct to purchase NHC now and incing on the cake is they are giving good discounts and freebies.

Does it mean that the NNHC will be pushed to Corolla category? I doubt that. Then the NHC may continue else the segment pie will be open to cars like SX4 to eat.

i mean this is really frustrating. I gotta buy the NHC Gxi model and the dealer at chandigarh is not offering me anything at all forget alone getting the 3-M coating, Sunfilm, Body cover or anything like that. And hey can anyone put some lite upon the fact that if i purchase the car from the CSD will i be able to get the freebies along?????????
waiting for some helpful tips.... any other recommendations are also welcome
