SCOOP! All New 3rd Gen Honda City Caught Testing EDIT : Interior pics on Pg. 39

I was driving to work this morning when at the Jahangir Hospital signal I noticed an odd looking car 4-5 cars in front of me. It looked almost BMWish but was not a BMW. On closer inspection I noticed it had a red UP plate and no badges.

Intrigued, I tried to catch up but traffic is pretty heavy even at 8:30 AM. I finally managed to catch up with it at the RTO signal. I took a few I edged around it and the moment I saw the side profile I realized it was the new City.

By now the driver had realized I was taking pictures and gesticulated at me. I smiled and give him a ‘thumbs up’ and mouthed ‘cool car’.

He started edging forward and I stayed alongside him, even though the light was red we soon found ourselves in the middle of the intersection. He took off before the light changed to green, I followed, he then dramatically slowed and came to a stop in front of the Indian Airlines office, I stopped as well. He then accelerated frantically, it took me a second or two to react but I raced after him, at the end of Sangam bridge he pulled a screeching u-turn (ok it wasn’t quite screeching, but it was very aggressive ) I duly followed.

As we approached the RTO signal he was in the right lane alongside the divider and I was alongside him, he tried to intimidate me by turning into me, but I held my ground and at one point my mirror was less than an inch from his door. The light was red so he had to stop; I managed to get in front of him and managed to click a couple of pictures.

At this point I decided to disengage, he was driving very aggressively and I figured it wasn’t worth getting into a confrontation.

Good catch and chase but you should be careful, they are driving a test vehicle but your is not

Most test cars are not driven that aggressively. "They" would normally risk a few spy pics than damage.
