They put banner saying Shell petrol price is reduced, they have not put the ammount reduced. Still the bunk looked deserted and it was at 8th mile bunk on tumkur road. I do not think it is still nearby the PSU rates. I noticed it today morning.

Today I heard a long catch radio ad that Shell prices have come down; but did not say how much. Any idea how much Shell petrol is now in Bangalore?

I heard the Radio Indigo ad as well and checked out Shell at Varthur Road, Kundanahalli / Whitefield, Bangalore this evening.

Diesel: 64
Petrol: 66

The government may not bring petrol and diesel prices on par but Shell surely is getting there.

Shell is Rs.66/- a litre for petrol in chennai as well. Apparently it was Rs.71/- a few weeks ago and they have reduced it by Rs.4/-

Petrol at Rs.66/- is a bit okay but diesel at Rs.64/?

Why are the prices so different from PSU OMCs and the private players?

Thumbs up Shell reduces the prices of Petrol.

Was just passing for a walk after lunch on VM road. There is a Shell petrol bunk next to our office building on VM road. Was surprised to see this.

The price of petrol is reduced from Rs.70.xx to Rs.66.45/ltr. Still there were no customers or any takers for this....

Good move, but still its almost 10rs extra than other bunks. This shows how much business shell is getting these days. Atleast, he is still "fighting" to get his pie and not closed it once for all like Reliance

If they drop their price to ~62, I guess there will be takers. By the way, whats the diesel price? It will be definitely difficult for them to get down diesel prices since diesel is heavily subsidized.

My Getz used to give 1.5 to 2 KM extra with Shell(Normal) but i stopped it as it was too costly to afford.Earlier it was equivalent to normal petrol in terms of price and mileage.

Well that's good news, i'm more than happy for shell's gesture. And from the banner it looks like only petrol prices are dropped.

Because diesel is more subsidized when compared to Petrol.

1 month back, Shell Petrol was retailing for 66/Ltr in Chennai. Is it still 66 now ? Been a long time since I entered a Shell Pump
