I would any day prefer a rear vent. I have a Corolla H2 (2006). The chill is great, but the fact is you dont want the front passengers freezing and the rear ones sweating in hot weather.
Always tends to be an issue - I prefer as many vents to have unifrom coolin across the car.

That's another model of the camry sold in a few asian markets. It's also called the Avalon in Singapore.

Check out the price of the 2009 Corolla range in the US:

2009 Toyota Corolla
  • Standard: $15,250 w/manual transmission, $16,050 w/automatic transmission
  • LE: $16,650 w/automatic transmission
  • XLE: $17,550 w/automatic transmission
  • S: $16,320 w/manual transmission, $17,150 w/automatic transmission
  • XRS: $18,760 w/manual transmission, $19,950 w/automatic transmission
source: KickingTires: Toyota Prices New 2009 Corolla and Matrix

The car costs almost $34000 in Indian rupees here, minus tax/title/registration. Is there a justification for this high price?.

Compare this to Toyota Auris in UK (hatchback version of corolla). It retails for around 16000 GBP which is around 12 lakh rupees.

Its futile trying to compare US prices to indian due to our tax structure. Comparison with European prices is a much better proposition.

Rear AC vents don't usually work that well in most sedans. Unless its an SUV or MPV that has dual AC system at the rear.

Even in most luxury sedans the rear ac is connected with the front hence its not half as effective. Although it does help to an extent.

Their website is already updated with details... Car is 132 PS power, has electric seats, HIDs etc. Suspension appears to be the same old crap though :(

Nice features. Looks to be a killer with the features. Almost as much as the Skodas/Jetta.

It beats the accord in features.

Only one thing I'm shocked at. No black colour!!!
