OT: I am surprised to read this comment! Omni and did not sell? I am seeing a lot of Ingenio's on the road these days.

I'm getting really impatient man. The INGENIO is everywhere and still nowhere. Inside it looks just like the SCORPIO. And if the auto bild pictures are true, then it is a real ugly duckling. If they don't introduce it immediately the new INNOVA is going to come in and eat it sideways.

Mahindra should have never made this car. Could've made a cheaper and smaller SCORPIO instead. SCORPIO JR. with two rows seats, same height and width but small length maybe with smaller wheelbase

The Omni was a stupendous success at one time. It consistently sold in the top 3 - 5 till a couple of years back.

Omni was in top 5 for like 20 years in a row. Its a stupendous success by any yardstick. It dosen't get a lot of attention but quietly goes about doing its job.

saw this one this morinng near Mt. Caramel Church, Lilavati Junction at Bandra.

There were 2 prototypes running on the opp. direction as to what i was travelling on.

they were very fast. but i am sure they were ingenios.

Is there any news about this MUV launch? or We can only see them in Spy pics under black covers and scoop news for the next two years?

the wait for launch of this vehicle is almost looking similar as other folks waiting for the fiat linea and other launches.. but i hope Mahindra does laucnh it soon.

As it is the Ingenio will have tough competition from the Innova and since they undergoing this forever gestation period perhaps there will be competition from the Tata X over soon as well, maybe.

My very reliable source in M&M tells me its next year. And yeah, she said the Sandero looks beautiful

No, no. Sandero is the small hatch that Mahindra Renault is planning to launch. Its based on the Logan platform. They have imported a couple of them and she saw the car there in the premises.

Since she takes care of the "legalities" I can say that the information that I have is credible on the Ingenio.

OT: Could you check with her, if the Sandero will be cut down to less than 4m and if the Stepway could be introduced in India ?
