Wow. 1.6 petrol 130bhp. Thats going to be a stunner for the petrol version. Car looks really good.
Pricing should be a little more expensive than the outgoing getz.

It looks stunning ... worth the wait.
I am not going to drive my car more than 10Km a day but I like the turbo rush of diesel cars. Lets wait and watch the pricing of CRDi motor i20.

Wow! looks good to me. I wish they do not go the Fabia way in pricing.

If they get the pricing right, they will find a buyer in me too.

Haha -I find this amusing (and satisfying!): I took the dimensions of i10 and i30, and averaged them out to get an idea of where i20 would be positioned. This was important for me because I was convincing myself NOT to buy the Fabia/Swift and wait for i20 because it would be equally good, or better in terms of everything, especially interiors space. So now that we know that the i20 has a wheelbase of 2525 mm, its actually pretty close: The avg of wheelbases of i10 and i30 is 2490.
So in terms of averages (of i10 and i30), the dimensions of i20 should be approximately: L 3905, W 1680, H 1510, W 2490.

I don't want to sound speculative - its just an indication of size of the car to be expected.

Looks Stunner in that Grey colour!

If priced right (just above the Getz) would be a complete practical commuter with good space and decent performance.

Hope hyundai people will release 126PS 1.6-liter diesel engine in i20 as an option with 1.4-liter diesel engine which i doubt will happen.

If released 1.6 diesel will be the first one to book.

Unlikely, since even the Verna only has the 1.4 L Crdi churning 110 BHP.

The first two pics were taken off the East Coast Road in one of the beaches that dot the coastline. I saw a camoflagued test car on the NH-4 service road and a few cars, similar to the one on page3 parked in the Hyundai factory entrance, while driving to the MMSC track last Sunday. I wanted to stop and take a pic, but there were quite a few security guys there.
