@greenhorn. the idea is that through these cuts eventually petrol and diesel will sooner than later be at par.

good news people.Now that the fuel is cheaper by a few rupees, don't just waste it. Conserve it. Don't forget the strike that happened few days back ago.

Yaar, the Government is selling it to you at a loss. Be happy there is a decrease and they didn't remove pricing controls entirely.

Come on.. you can always negate that with the stellar mileage figures that Diesel engines dish out!

But as someone said, be happy that its come down

Lucky buggers! Petrol will cost something like 44.xx in Chennai after the price cut.

Guess the Govt cant make any changes till the elections are over.

any news about the price cut, as of now petrol in chennai is 49.xx, another 4 to 5 rs. would do good.
