Thanks buddy. But the Noida Temporary number, where Honda's plant is located adds to the mystery. Are they planning to revamp the Accord too?

hmm. Looks cool. Very different than current Accord (Almost like the BMW/Audis)

I thought the current Accord come just recently. Is it time for a refresh already?

I am still to figure how exactly Honda is going to position the Euro Accord here? Then again if Skoda can sell the Octavia as the Laura and still good numbers of the older version, Honda certainly can get away with this position in our bizarre market!
It clearly is the Superb's effect that Honda has to resort to a more luxury and feature clad model to counter. The existing Accord is not capable to fight it on value.

Sahil, the Euro accord will not be launched here. What you see there is a way to fool the media. They are actually testing the 2.2CTDi motor. That is why they have the european accord as the motor is available in europe.

Once they finish testing the diesel motor they will launch it in the same Accord we get here.

This was confirmed by ACI in one of their interviews with Honda chaps.

tsk13,

Nice work with the camera.

The design cues point to the car being from the Honda family. Will be interesting to see when they launch this car.

I liked that accord(if it is) pics by tsk.
Why don't we get such models here is a mystery to me.

Yes what Honda has done is a joke but is it for the first time- na.
End of the month of launch honda will be laughing to the bank is the reality!

Thanks gpa and Harry.

The car was stunning, first it seemed like a modified New City but on checking the rear I reversed my car and took pics from front and rear.

The 2.2 CTDi diesel motor is only available in the european version of the Accord. Its is NOT available in the US Accord that we get here.

That black european Accord on these pages is just a test mule with the diesel mill imported by Honda India.Once testing of the engine is over,it'll just be transplanted in the US/India Accord.

On the contrary the euro Accord is also sold in the US as The Acura TSX.Again no diesels are offered.

Default Spotted an unknown Honda vehicle testing!

Hi, I was taking the DND to delhi and I saw this unknown dark grey Honda Car (Accord size), no logo/markings, with red UP registration number. I saw the same vehicle 2-3 days back near IIT delhi. I had a hard time chasing this car all the way from Noida... what strange is the exhaust tip was tilted downward, just like an Octy.. So, it probably has a diesel engine! Any ideas!

Few pics I managed to take with my phone:
