The car seems to have a very confused front. I like the rear + side view.

I think Honda is seriously considering its Diesel options for India.
The problem is that the present Indian Accord is based on the US version which is not Diesel compatible, (Cant understand why since the US and Euro versions are based on the same platform).
This must be where the Euro version steps in. The 2.2 Honda diesel is a beautiful engine and would neatly slot in between the base and V6 variants. This will open the Accord to many new customers who would otherwise have to buy a Skoda Laura. I reckon it could at least double the Accord sales.
But it will be really strange having to buy a different looking car in order to have the diesel variant.
The CRV uses the same engine, but Honda is worried about the price of an imported Diesel CRV. They are actively considering local assembly.

Off topic but Honda is also developing a small Diesel, to be launched in a couple of years time.

Default What car is this??

Spotted this car some 20mins back. was able to get one decent pic. the others did not turn out good at all.

i have seen this chocolate/dark brown car second time now, the first time was near sector 15A about 3-4 days back but it was on the other side of the road and the light turned green.

there are no badges on the car, the steering did not have any logo either. i think the styling looks Honda (?). i thought the front looked similar to a civic but my wife disagrees.

Its European Accord. Honda is using the European Accord to test the diesel powerplant in India. Its a good disguise that people think a new car is coming, but its mostly used for testing the 2.2 powerplant and there are very less chances of this car coming to India.

The down turned exhaust is the perfect giveaway for the diesel engine powering it.
