European Honda Accord being tested for diesel engine for india conditions. its a 2.2 power plant.

a similar 2.0 diesel CRV being tested on indian roads! CRVs and Jazz/Fit throught the world look same, its only accord which has 3 and civic which have four models.

i have seen this chocolate/dark brown car second time now, the first time was near sector 15A about 3-4 days back but it was on the other side of the road and the light turned green.

there are no badges on the car, the steering did not have any logo either. i think the styling looks Honda (?). i thought the front looked similar to a civic but my wife disagrees.
Maven, is that the Sector-50 market, next to the booze shop?
I saw this car too a couple of weeks back caught in a traffic jam at night on Ring Road near Sarai Kale Khan. There were two guys in the front and a bored-looking kid in the back. It had no markings at the back, on the front grill or on the alloys. Initially I thought it was an Acura but then realized it was the European Accord. Better looking car than the Accord we get here IMHO.

bingo Starscream.
seems this gentleman doesnt live too far from sector 50. if hadnt had guests waiting at home i would have hung around and asked the guy who is using it. perhaps next time
you are correct there. The dimensions of the car were noticeably smaller than the accord that we have on our roads.

Thought as much...looked very familiar.
This car seems to be getting used for a lot of regular stuff - shopping, ferrying kids etc. Honda wouldn't do that with a test car, would they? Seems like some Honda top shot is using it as his company car.
I'll keep an eye out for it in that area if this guy lives in those parts.

It IS an Acura. The TSX to be exact. It is sold as the Euro Accord in certain markets. The Euro-R version is a blistering machine. The engine from that is taken up a level and plonked into the Japanese Civic Type-R, which really is the Chief Ninja.

The Honda top shot guy using this car, lives in GK-II in S-block, behind the Anupam Sweets lane.

In fact they have another debadged Honda accord doing the rounds (the indian accord in white color) , owned by the company & parked at w-block GK-II, along with the diesel CRV that I had spotted earlier.

new civic spotted

Hi friends, i spotted this car being tested on greater noida expressway. Believe it is the new civic - UP registration and the profile of area around the number plate. The rear is dissapointing though if it is the new civic.

Did I spot the ALL NEW HONDA CIVIC?

I saw this beauty in Kotla area of New Delhi. Totally debadged from rear, front grille emblem removed forcibly (emblem area broken), No logos on alloys and I believe there was Honda logo on steering.

Had a UP temporary number, which points towards a Honda product and moreover the front driver side tyre was a Bridgestone Turana ER 370 and rear driver side was Dunlop.

See the kid, he tried opening the car.
